Audio Visual

Bad AV wastes 10 minutes of every meeting — not with Tantech!

Solving the problems behind the technology

At Tantech, our audio visual work starts with the problem you’re trying to solve, rather than a particular piece of equipment. We assess your space, how it is used and the collaboration platforms you rely on, then design an AV solution around those requirements.

From a single meeting room to a complete estate of collaboration spaces, we can source, install and support the technology.

The Top 10 AV Problems

1 Poor audio quality

People can’t hear clearly, microphones don’t pick up everyone, or background noise and echo disrupt meetings.

2 Poor video & camera coverage

Remote participants can’t see everyone clearly or cameras don’t capture the right people at the right time.

3 Poor hybrid meeting experience

Remote and in-room participants don’t feel equally involved, making collaboration difficult.

4 Meeting rooms are too complicated

Users struggle with multiple controls, cables, remotes and different systems just to start a meeting.

5 Unreliable technology

Cameras, microphones, displays or conferencing systems fail when they’re needed most.

6 Different rooms use different systems

Employees have to learn different technology and meeting processes depending on which room they use.

7 AV systems don't work together

Displays, cameras, microphones, conferencing platforms and control systems aren’t properly integrated.

8 IT teams spend time troubleshooting

AV problems generate support calls and require IT staff to physically visit meeting rooms.

9 Existing AV isn't fit for modern working

Older meeting rooms weren’t designed for Teams, Zoom, hybrid working, wireless presentation or modern collaboration.

10 No clear AV strategy

Organisations buy equipment on an ad-hoc basis without considering the room, user experience, integration, scalability or long-term support.

Audio Visual Solution Components

We work with technologies including Q-SYS, Logitech, Neat and others to create meeting and collaboration spaces that are reliable, easy to use and scalable.

Our approach: from problem to solution

01 — Assess & Design

We start by understanding your business, your people and how your spaces are actually used. Then we look at the room itself — acoustics, lighting, size, seating and connectivity. We design the AV system around the requirements rather than forcing the room to fit a particular product.

02 — Supply & Install

As an independent technology supplier, Tantech can source equipment from a broad range of manufacturers. Our engineers install, configure and commission the system so it is ready for use.

03 — Train & Support

We make sure your users know how to use the technology and that your IT team understands the environment. We can also provide ongoing support, monitoring and maintenance to keep your AV investment performing.

Audio visual: frequently asked questions

Three stages. First we assess how your spaces are used and design the audio visual system around those needs. Then we supply, install, configure and commission it. Finally we train your users and IT team and, if you want, provide ongoing support, monitoring and maintenance. One team looks after the project from start to finish.

Yes. Many older rooms weren’t designed for hybrid meetings, Teams or Zoom. We look at what you already have, keep what still works, and recommend the changes that make the biggest difference, whether that’s better microphones, a new camera or a simpler way to start meetings.

We design and install meeting rooms for Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom. Hardware comes from manufacturers including Neat, Logitech and Huddly, with Q-SYS for audio, video and control. As an independent supplier, we recommend the equipment that suits your rooms and platforms, not a single brand.

Yes. We supply Lenovo’s current Google Meet Series One room kits, in small, medium and large sizes, and we can check existing Series One rooms and plan their upgrade. See Google Meet Series One by Lenovo for support dates and details.

Yes. We can design a standard room set-up and roll it out across your sites, so people get the same equipment and the same way of starting a meeting wherever they are. That also makes support simpler for your IT team.

Yes. We can provide ongoing support, monitoring and maintenance. With Q-SYS we can also monitor rooms remotely with Q-SYS Reflect, so many problems are spotted and fixed before your users notice.
