Store Floor & Shelf Edge
Mobile computers, label printers and retail digital signage for the shop floor and the shelf edge.
The shop floor is where stock accuracy and customer experience meet. Colleagues need to check stock, change prices and print labels at the shelf edge without leaving the aisle, while windows and end-of-aisle screens need to catch shoppers’ attention all day.
Since 2002, Tantech has supplied and supported the handheld devices, mobile printers and retail digital signage that do both, from the shelf edge to the shop window, in one store or across the whole estate.
Shelf edge, in-store hardware and digital signage
- Handheld mobile computers: stock checks, price look-ups and replenishment; some double as a mobile till.
- Mobile belt-clip printers: shelf-edge labels and markdowns printed in the aisle.
- High-brightness window displays: readable in direct sunlight and rated for all-day running, including double-sided models.
- In-store and end-of-aisle screens: promotions, wayfinding and menu boards.
- Stretched bar displays: ultra-wide screens for the shelf edge and end of aisle.
- Outdoor and freestanding signage: weatherproof screens, digital A-boards and totems.
- Interactive touchscreens and video walls: for showrooms and flagship stores.
- Signage players and management: content updated remotely, including ChromeOS devices with the Kiosk & Signage Upgrade, managed from the Google Admin console.

Built for your store
Signage that fits the space
When a standard screen doesn't suit the spot, we'll source signage shaped to it, from the shop window to the shelf edge. Content is updated remotely, so every store shows the right message at the right time.
Talk to us about in-store signage →- Shop windows: double-sided, ultra-bright displays readable in direct sunlight.
- Shelf edge: stretched bar displays for prices and promotions.
- Floor and outside: freestanding totems and weatherproof digital A-boards.
- Managed remotely: content scheduled and updated across every store from one place.
Brands we work with

Zebra builds its retail range around the store colleague, putting real-time stock and pricing information in their hands on the shop floor. Its LifeGuard programme delivers regular security updates for Zebra Android devices and keeps supporting them while you move to a newer OS, so your handhelds stay protected for longer.

Honeywell's Mobility Edge handhelds share one hardware and software platform, so a store app is built and certified once, then rolled out across models. The same device can handle push-to-talk and voice calls alongside stock work, so each colleague has fewer devices to carry.

Samsung has been number one in the global commercial display market for 17 years running, according to Omdia. Its signage is rated for long running hours in retail spaces, and content and screens are managed remotely across every store through MagicINFO or Samsung VXT.
Google reports no ransomware attacks on ChromeOS, which makes it a secure base for in-store screens. With the Kiosk & Signage Upgrade, screens boot straight into your signage app, and the Google Admin console lets you monitor and control every device remotely, or wipe one that goes missing.
